The Message is a great bible to have along with your study bible because it reads more like a story than verse by verse, so its a little easier to understand. It makes reading the bible more enjoyable and relatable. This new journaling bible has some pages that are already designed for you that you can color like a coloring page (which may be a nice way to involve my son because he loves to color!) But it also has plenty of blank pages for you to add your own touch to it too. I cant wait to jump in and add some color to this bible and share them with you!

Hi Melissa, I have thought of 100 ways to try to say this but within this limited frame I believe frankness to be the most prudent path. Please research the Message Bible before recommending it to others, especially those new to Christ. God's Word is not in need of translation and is anointed as is. The Message Bible is no more than an attempt to dilute that anointing. All I ask is that you keep an open mind, pray and let God lead you before you research that bible. You have an amazing gift and an overwhelming responsibility, as well. I pray you find the truth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
